Data Specialist

REQUIREMENT

  • Requires knowledge of litigation discovery process, and the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) workflow.
  • Knowledge of Government's IT environment, including office automation networks, PC and server-based applications preferred.
  • Working knowledge of personal computers, including Windows, document review software, and encryption methods.
  • Experience with LAW, IPRO, Relativity or another document processing platform. Familiarity with ICONECT, Relativity, MS Office Suite, and West LiveNote valued.
  • At least five years' experience performing eDiscovery roles including but not limited to electronic files processing (EFP), image and data file conversion, data culling using review tools, quality assurance, database loads and retrieval, and data analysis.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Responsibility for managing the day-to-day financial operations. This will include complex levels which requires extensive up-front preparation.
  • Required to download sales orders, purchase orders, and running financial reports from SAP. You must also put financial information into SAP from the customer.
  • Will complete order oversight and contact with internal and external contractors. This often requires set-up, follow-up, and resolution of all issues dealings with funds from the customer going to the vendor for the services/products provided.

  • Communicate with vendors regarding MIPRs, RAs, sales orders, invoices, etc. for accuracy and payment within a timely manner.
  • Communicate with UNICOR Central Accounts Payable (CAP) and Central Accounts Receivable (CAR) staff to ensure invoices and payments are accurate.
  • Monitor inventory levels, regularly re-evaluate, adjust safety stock levels, and rounding values.
  • Field all inquiries from General managers, staff, contracting officers and vendors. Expediting, changing orders, upon request within a timely manner.
  • Assist factory managers with production order management (create, cost, release, researching and documenting variances).
  • Ensure all supporting documentation for each folder has the correct information in SAP as well as on the groups share

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Requires an Industrial Specialist with specific financial knowledge of SAP.
  • Must have working knowledge of SAP operating system, Microsoft, Federal Acquisition Regulations, and UNICOR's general and interagency policies.

  • Determines test objectives and standards by reviewing customer requirements
  • Conducts application testing of web-based systems
  • Captures and documents artifacts and records defects
  • Verifies and validates testing results by accessing and querying databases using MS Access or SQL
  • Reports test outcome by collecting, analyzing, interpreting, summarizing, and displaying data
  • Resolves testing problems by modifying testing methods during tests; conferring with management to revise test objectives and plans Gains an understanding of business requirements, current system operations/functionality and proposed new requirements
  • Participates in design reviews, analysis walkthroughs, and Peer Reviews
  • Must have a working knowledge of Rational ClearQuest & Rational ClearCase
