The Data Engineer:

About the Role

We are seeking a full-time Director of Compliance who applies global IT industry best practices, enabling StackPath to instill the business with new insights regarding global data, business risk, compliance, and information security. 

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in delivering Global IT initiatives and operational elements that adhere to and are applicable with regulations of the US and international regulatory agencies, that company policies and procedures are being followed, and that behavior in the organization meets the company’s Standards of Conduct. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Help define and build a comprehensive Compliance posture for StackPath’s evolving business
  • Develop and execute on a plan to achieve the targeted business Compliance certifications in the IT and Information Security Framework
  • Maintain process documentation regarding each aspect of the compliance program; maintain flow charts of the compliance program that identifies risk points and controls over those risk points
  • Monitor that the controls are being tested with the appropriate risk based-frequency, by the appropriate internal, independent and/or external organization; provide guidance to employees as necessary to ensure the effectiveness or the IT Policy & Compliance program
  • Collaborate with internal StackPath technical teams to review appropriate control measures, procedures and evidence to ensure continuous compliance with firm IT policies, governmental regulations and customer requirements

  • Consult and contribute to the resolution of internal audit findings, ensuring sustainable implementations meet expectations.

  • Provide systems administration and system architectural direction in support of a large distributed Linux infrastructure

  • Working knowledge of storage system configuration, systems logging and exception diagnosis
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Python, Ruby and shell programming techniques as related to Internet applications design, network management and systems management. In addition, working knowledge of Unix systems utilities (e.g., bash, sed, awk, rcs, svn).

About the Role

StackPath is hiring a Technical Project Manager for our Platform Project Management team. Our Platform Project Management team is responsible for the delivery of new products, services, and technological advancements for StackPath, and the industries of information security and content delivery.   • The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for multiple teams in an environment transitioning between Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
  • Works with the Platform PMO team to manage all projects in the Platform arm of the Organization.
  • Coordinates with functional managers on all project teams
  • Works with subject matter experts to create/update task estimates
  • Communicates with architecture/product teams for project architecture / requirements / implementation documentation
  • Creates Project Management Plan, including project milestones/timelines, manages project budget
  • Runs all project-related meetings
  • Maintains project assets and communications using Atlassian Confluence and Jira
  • Evaluates and monitors overall project progress, risks, defects, schedule, and budget where appropriate
