So, what would you be doing?

  • Lead all things for this partnership that come into our Chicago Headquarters.
  • Partner with an assigned Solutions Consultant and an assigned Customer Support Engineer in Chicago to run the day-to-day operations.
  • Support and Partner with SVP/Managing Director of APAC who ultimately owns this client relationship
  • Form a close working partnership with the Signal support team based in Japan as well as the client team itself.
  • In concert with Product and Engineering, take charge of the account and play an essential leadership role: monitor partnership health, organize projects, track workflow and effectively resolve issues. Be able to effectively engage and communicate with different teams, decision makers and executives in Chicago and Japan to accomplish our client goals
  • Collaborate with Signal’s technical support, project management, product and marketing teams to execute against our product development roadmap, bring new features & functionality to market, and provide superior customer support. Understand and be able to effectively speak to both the business and technical sides of the account
  • Suggest and develop processes and services to improve operational efficiency between both organizations. Leverage Signal processes and best practices where it makes sense and build new processes to meet the unique needs of the partnership   
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to develop an internal and client-facing QA and product delivery process that drives smooth product launches and feature releases
  • Help organize and lead critical planning meetings, status updates, business reviews and other communications.
  • Be an advocate for providing the best partner experience possible.
  • Be an expert in digital marketing trends, stay informed of data-driven marketing news, emerging technologies and competitor offerings.
  • Manage and improve upon issue resolution and escalation process
  • Run day-to-day operations for incident reports, JIRA ticket communication and internal SLA’s
  • Manage several shared Trello boards in partnership with Signal Japan team, client direct and Signal headquarters in Chicago to track operations, integrations, issues and new product launches

What do we need from you?

  • 7+ years working in the online advertising/marketing space (DMP/DSP/ESP/RTB/Attribution/Ad Servers) in a Senior Account Management or Project Management role.
  • Deep understanding of offline data onboarding and online data activation
  • Good understanding of Publishers
  • Proven experience working closely with Product and Engineering teams
  • Experience working deep within a media technology or platform.
  • Experience working with JIRA and support escalation procedures

  • Design, implement, deploy and help maintain systems for building, deploying, and operating customer-facing applications.

Signal, the innovator in customer identity resolution, seeks a smart, ambitious Strategic Sales Partnership Specialist with Ad/Martech, data analytics and/or SaaS experience. In this role, you will be supporting senior sales partners in a timely and effective manner to ensure sales goals are met and exceeded within assigned sales territories. In addition, you also support the team by assisting with new sales leads, managing the correspondence between the sales team and client delivery personnel. You’ll track and progress accounts in Salesforce. The SSPS works under limited supervision and performs independently within established policies and procedures.

What you would be doing:

  • Develop an in-depth Signal Identity Platform product knowledge including Media Activation, Measurement, Personalization and new product extensions.
  • Answer customer questions as appropriate to support the sales process. Favorably position Signal products by consistently demonstrating product knowledge with respect to new and existing products.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com to prepare professional sales quotes as requested. Assist in presenting, demonstrating, and selling products to customers on the telephone, by email, and on site, as needed.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com to help manage opportunities and a sales pipeline of revenue for a specified group of Industry Verticals/Territory.
  • Lead RFPs
  • When necessary, lead clients and internal stakeholders through successful paid trial agreements to ensure conversion to license.
  • Guide Customer Success team members through early project plans to ensure expectations sold into client map to delivery.
  • Assist Sales and Marketing in preparing for sales presentations and sales conferences.
  • Maintain and manage customer information in Salesforce and other databases. Review, interpret, and evaluate data to assist in targeting sales opportunities.
  • Assist in qualifying leads and sales opportunities to ensure effective time and budget management.
  • Act as liaison with Customer Delivery to resolve customer issues, address customer requests, and ensure solution capability is mapped to those requests
  • Consistently demonstrate a command, curiosity, and aptitude in the areas of technology, data and media.
  • Maintain high level of personal productivity and effectiveness. Consistently demonstrate ability to use basic and advanced features of Salesforce and other productivity tools to efficiently prepare presentations, reports, correspondence, and targeted sales campaigns.
  • Maintain proper documentation and paperwork; provide timely reports to management as requested.
  • Performs other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

What we need from you:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in one or more of the following: data analytics, SaaS platform sales, ad tech (DMP, DSP, attribution), media (digital/paid), or other relevant roles in a SaaS company.
