Your role

As our first DevOps Engineer, you’ll be in charge of supporting our development teams and the wider organization through the design and implementation of infrastructure and automation projects. You’re a proactive person who does your research and is able to make strong recommendations to help us solve problems and reach development and scaling goals. You’re a confident, security focused professional who understands the importance of documentation and transparency in decision making.

You’ll be responsible for helping to build a network of API integrations and deployments between our apps, our customers, and supported vendors. Being the expert in residence for the infrastructure, you’ll take a passive and active role in ensuring the security of our infrastructure, apps, and data.We’ll also count on you to optimize our tech stack and content delivery practices to best serve customers all over the world. As our first DevOps Engineer, you thrive in an autonomous role and have a high level of integrity for getting things done on time and on budget.

Your qualifications

  • 1-2 years of devops experience
  • Basic familiarity with core AWS services (IAM, EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, WAF, etc.).
  • A beginner (or better) understanding of at least one of: Chef, Puppet, Ansible.
  • Proficiency with one or more scripting languages: Bash, Perl, Python, etc.
  • An ability and desire to write effective documentation.
  • Working knowledge of fundamental web technologies like HTTP, SSL/TLS and DNS.
  • Strong Linux chops in one or more common distributions.

Your Role

As a Inbound Solutions Representative, you’ll be starting your career in sales or tech sales. Your primary function will be to answer inbound phone calls from new leads that are interested in our products, which include a SAAS product for Security Awareness and Information Security training ( Security IQ).  You will have a script of questions to ask these inbound callers and chatters and based on those conversations, you will direct the callers in the correct sales team. For both functions, you’ll be explaining the value of our products, developing relationships with customers, and leveraging those relationships for referrals to build your book of business.

Our management team provide solid, consistent training and coaching to help you get up to speed on our over 60 course offerings and Security IQ products. We’ll set you up for success with a quota system that grows with your knowledge and abilities. Our Junior Sales/Chat Representatives have the option to continue in their role or potentially move onto a more experienced sales role. As a mid-size business, our growth is high and the paths are varied.

Our Junior Sales Representatives have the option to continue in their role or potentially move onto our Business Development Team. Your role

As a Software Developer on our team, you’ll be working on our Skillset application. You're passionate about coding and doing things right. You have experience with both front and back end development and have worked on coding an application from scratch. You thrive in a small team atmosphere where your ideas and contributions are welcomed and open, direct communication is a two-way street. You love having the freedom to code without constant interruptions or endless meetings and you appreciate autonomy in your decision-making.

Skillset helps our students prepare to take certifications through algorithmic learning and targeted video tutorials. You're excited to be an integral contributor in building the next generation skills assessment and test preparation platform.

Your qualifications

  • 3-5 years of prior professional web development experience.
  • Experience writing modern, object-oriented PHP and JavaScript (ES6).
  • Exposure to test driven development and use of PHPUnit. 
  • Bonus points for familiarity with CakePHP and React, our frameworks of choice.
  • Comfortable writing and debugging SQL (we use MySQL) and using an ORM.
  • A sound understanding of general and web application security concepts (e.g., OWASP Top 10) and an attitude of security conscientiousness.
  • Familiarity with Git, Github/Bitbucket, pull requests, resolving merge conflicts, etc.
  • Basic Linux / command line skills.
  • An enthusiasm for working on a self-organizing Agile team, delivering business value through working software on a bi-weekly basis.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • While you are an independent contributor, we use a team selling strategy to support our clients throughout the entire process. 
  • Work in concert with our lead generation and customer success teams to complete the sales cycle

Your qualifications

InfoSec Institute is seeking Web Application Developer for our market leading phishing simulator and security awareness SaaS product SecurityIQ

Your role

You love coding and are passionate about learning new things. You will be on a team where your ideas and contributions are welcomed and open, direct communication is a two-way street. You’ll have the freedom to code without constant interruptions or endless meetings. You’ve got experience in web development on both the front and back end.

You understand the information security concerns that face companies and you’re excited to help others learn how to fight against the hackers and protect their information. You’ll be working with a small, but mighty team that focuses on our student portal, Skillset or SecurityIQ projects.

Our student portal was launched in 2017 and gives students the “keys to the kingdom”. They are able to review previous classes taken, register for new classes, and gather information about attending the courses like booking a hotel room. Students can print their certificates of completion and access financing options. There’s more that can be done and the right developer will help build out those new features and options.

Your qualifications

  • 3-5 years of prior professional web development experience.
