Vision for this position:  The Director of Business Operations partners with stakeholders to design, develop, implement, and integrate information systems and operations systems in support of core business functions, including quote-to-cash, finance, project management, HR, and productivity applications. This role also manages the organization’s information technology tools and support systems.

Enterprise Systems

  • Develop and manage a roadmap for changes to systems architecture, especially Salesforce. Ensure transparency of roadmap and timeline, and communicate often with stakeholders about the status of work.
  • Evaluate end user needs, organizational goals, budgets, and existing applications to define system requirements and technical standards. 
  • Develop and manage a change management process for changes to enterprise systems, especially the Salesforce schema.
  • Manage a data governance process to ensure the quality, integrity, and security of the organization’s key data.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop processes and system recommendations to ensure the accuracy of IM’s invoicing and Salesforce customer data.
  • Manage enterprise systems projects and ensure that projects are completed accurately and on-time.
  • Manage Salesforce developer contractors/employees.

Information Technology

  • Manage information technology for the organization, including hardware and software for basic productivity (email, docs, slack, drive, etc), access control, security, and onboarding and offboarding users.
  • Manage IM’s outsourced helpdesk.
  • Draft, monitor, and maintain policies and procedures to support the organization’s information technology.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Salesforce administrator or developer
  • At least 2 years experience managing technical staff
  • Experience leading complex projects
  • Demonstrated success in working with business and technology stakeholders
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ a plus
  • Experience with data governance and/or change management initiatives
  • Salesforce certifications: Administrator or Advanced Administrator. Knowledge of Salesforce development a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the execution and tracking of the marketing plan including all activities and programs related to brand awareness, lead generation, and sales enablement. 
  • Plan and project manage ongoing activities such as digital advertising, newsletters, webinars, and launching new marketing channels and initiatives. 
  • Create and maintain processes for internal workflow for marketing campaigns, newsletters, testimonials and customer success recording, as well as managing the copywriting process. 
  • Collect, organize, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data related to our customer and user experiences. This is in relation to the implementation of our curriculum and professional learning to draw out key trends and insights and recommend actions based on findings.
  • Listen to customers through surveys, customer calls, partner interactions, social media, customer requests, and market research and develop recommendations. 
  • Develop or bring a deep understanding of the challenges districts face in math education and the processes by which schools implement new curriculum.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • An understanding of the needs of Title 1 educators, educators who serve students of color and educators of color
  • 10+ years of marketing or sales channel management or support, ideally in the K-12 marketplace. 
  • Committed to, and demonstrated success in, centering racial equity and inclusion.
  • College degree in business, marketing, communications, or education.
  • Strong command of financial management and ability to stretch a limited marketing budget for maximum effectiveness.
  • Expertise in using Google Analytics and data sources to drive day-to-day marketing  decisions.
  • Strong prioritization and project management skills. 
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Experience with marketing systems including CRM (Salesforce.com), HootSuite, Hubspot, and Google. 
  • Ability to professionally interact with all levels of an organization.

LMS Support Specialist
Location: WA

Illustrative Mathematics is looking for a part-time contractor to support school districts in loading the IM curriculum into the Canvas and Schoology learning management systems (LMSes).

 

As customers reach out to IM for support, the LMS support specialist will provide technical assistance in loading and configuring the IM curriculum.

 

In addition, this role will provide feedback and support to the IM engineering team as they work to make the curriculum exports more useful in an LMS environment.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience administering Canvas and/or Schoology learning management systems
  • Experience loading Common Cartridge files into learning management systems
  • Experience providing technical support

 

This is an hourly contract position, and the level of work depends on incoming requests from districts. We anticipate a higher level of support needed in May/June and August/September timeframes.
