Vision for this position: IM is seeking a Math Product Specialist who can support potential curriculum and professional learning customers and our distribution partner sales teams.

Responsibilities:
- Consult with potential customers about IM K-12 Math curricula and professional learning.
- Help potential customers understand our distribution and service partnership models.
- Provide support to our distribution partner sales team.
- Work with our distribution partner sales teams to ensure new opportunities are entered correctly into Salesforce.
- Maintain good records of customer communications in Salesforce.
- Manage the "schedule a call" function at IM.
- Respond to leads coming into the IM email and through lead forms.
- Monitor and respond to inbound calls to IM.

Vision for this position:
IM seeks to ensure that students, particularly historically underserved students, and their teachers have access to aligned, grade-level, mathematics curriculum resources, and that teachers experience professional learning that leads to enduring mathematical learning for their students. In order to provide professional learning that reflects our belief about teaching and learning, IM creates and manages many hundreds of inter-related documents and materials across Google Drive, Salesforce, and other interactive education platforms. This position will help us develop and manage workflows and ensure quality and access are consistent across all documents.

- Work with the professional learning content creation team and other stakeholders to develop document & project management processes that ensure access and transparency
- Maintain document statuses as professional learning materials are revised and updated

Responsibilities
- Functional work: oversee and orchestrate execution by PL Implementation Coordinator(s), and contribute as necessary, to
- Ensure facilitators are assigned to scheduled PL events based on availability and certifications.
- Ensure that PL events that have been sold but do not have a date identified are scheduled.
- Ensure that all critical communications with district points of contact are being made and alleviate ill will.
- Ensure handouts are printed and delivered for onsite events (currently through Mimeo).
- Ensure logistical details for all PL events are well managed and accurately documented.
- Manage processes and systems that are needed to maintain visibility into scheduled PL events.
- Monitor and communicate customer feedback data
- At times, facilitate and/or moderate IM Certified professional learning events.

- Study existing PL materials for virtual and onsite sessions, and determine the instructional design and accessibility needs to ensure participants have positive experiences. This may include attending PL sessions, meeting with participants, and meeting with stakeholders within IM.
- Work with the professional learning content creation team and marketing team to develop slide templates, handout templates, and guidance for other materials that are clear, inviting, and accessible.
- Train contractors and work with the PL team to provide quality assurance for all PL materials that are produced.

The Social Media Specialist at Illustrative Mathematics will be a team member on IM’s Marketing Team, and this person will liaise with our Product Strategy and Math Curriculum Teams. The ideal candidate has experience in running social media projects from A-Z and working in a busy environment. The candidate should also be at ease presenting, collaborating on ideas with enthusiasm, and creating reports. If you love analyzing and being creative, this is your nirvana!
Duties
- Perform advanced analysis of data from multiple platforms in order to uncover trends to provide valuable feedback for the Marketing Team
- Monitor social media ad campaigns daily, making adjustments as needed
- Collaborate in mapping out social media marketing plans by means of customer identification, platform ascertainment, and messaging
- Develop a methodology for cross-platform reporting for social media campaigns
- Ensure prioritization, accuracy and relevance of reports and analyses produced by the team
- Prepare social media strategies as part of the broader campaign strategies

- Solid background in Marketing, Public Relations, Business, or Communications
- Hands-on experience as a specialist in digital/social media
- 10+ years of experience in the field of digital communications and social media
- Commit to working a minimum of 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, and be available during normal business hours
- Expertise in Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram, their management, and analytical tools
- Experience in managing Facebook paid advertising campaigns, targeting specific audiences, pivoting if something isn't working, and analyzing results after a paid campaign is completed
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills
- Strong understanding of social media trends in platforms of Facebook, Twitter, IG, LI, and Pinterest; can make suggestions on pivoting when industry trends change (as needed)
- Knowledge of SEO, web design development, and web design is highly preferable
- Thorough understanding of principal marketing channels and digital marketing
- Strong eye for design and visuals when reviewing social graphics trends for each social platform; will work closely with Creative Services Manager on brainstorming ideas to increase post engagement
