Client offers innovative flooring solutions that include elevated concrete, cellular concrete, underlayment, insulation, and sound mat installation options for multifamily and commercial. The Sales Representative performs various tasks to ensure growth, revenue, and profitability for the region.  

Key duties include:

  • Develop/maintain relationships with and provide technical support general contractors (GC’s), Specialty contractors and renovation specialists.
  • Promote and increase awareness through presentations, phone conversations, and e-mail communications.
  • Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project.
  • Prepares and implements a budget based on estimates.
  • Travels to sites to review projects, meet with current and prospective customers.

Ideal candidate should have:

  • Have 2+ years in sales and new business development.
  • Have 3+ years in commercial construction.
  • Able to quickly build trusted, honest relationships with current and new customers at multiple levels within a business.
  • Quickly take action on customer concerns, investigate situations and recommend solutions.

  • In coordination with the Regional Sales Manager, manage pricing strategies and discounts.

  • Confer or consult with the marketing department to plan advertising services and to secure information on products and customer specifications.

  • Have commercial flooring and product experience.
  • Floor underlayment, moisture mitigation a plus.
  • Able to quickly build trusted, honest relationships with current and new customers at multiple levels within a business.
  • Quickly take action on customer concerns, investigate situations and recommend solutions.

Branch Manager - Commercial Construction

Pensacola, FL.

$80,000 to $90,000 Starting Salary Range - Bonus Eligible

Summary

The Manager is responsible for the coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of assigned construction projects for the branch.  Our Manager will effectively cultivate good team and group dynamics, demonstrate the technical and practical expertise for successful project completion, and display an ongoing commitment to quality. Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.  Develops projects to assure profitability and customer satisfaction.  

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Maintain good relationships with external clients including GC's, superintendents and subcontractors in other trades
  • Monitor costs including labor, time, and materials and keep jobs moving forward on time and within budget
  • Perform job site inspections prior to mobilization to ensure readiness
  • Supervision of field labor force including foremen and other construction personnel
  • Hiring, training and development of employee crew labor
  • Create training protocols as deemed necessary to improve operational performance
  • Demonstrate commitment to safety and injury-free work environment

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of construction experience in commercial construction projects
  • The ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Must be able to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Must be an effective communicator with vendors, subcontractors, owners and co-workers
