Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify best construction approaches and risks to ensure efficiency and mitigate exposure
  • Drive construction goals and expectations, and resource requirements for each phase of the project
  • Manage assigned projects from estimate through close out documentation
  • Oversee activities of PM's and Site Supervisor on assigned projects
  • Monitor project progress to ensure compliance with financial, operational, and/or scheduling requirements
  • Gather information, develop solutions, and adjust to necessary changes in work sequences
  • Evaluate and submit paperwork associated with the pre-construction, construction, and postconstruction phases of a project

Competencies:

This person will be focused on product enhancement and participating in advanced learning to ensure our company and clients have the best in class products.  You will work on-site at our client location in Omaha.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop the design packages associated with fueling, oil systems and industrial waste water treatment plants.

  • Design electrical panels and or work with existing panel designers to draft panel build docs.

  • Provide specifications for instrumentation used in the control systems.

  • Work with engineering partners and contractors adding Controls Engineering Schema information to the Design-Bid-Build process.

  • Program PLCs, HMIs, and remote monitoring SCADA systems. Create and develop your own code.

  • Allen Bradley PLC, Scheinder Magelis HMIs and Inductive Automation SCADA platforms.

  • Modify systems based on customer’s request, validate and test changes, document amendments and changes accordingly.

Requirements:

  • BSEE, BSEET, or equivalent degree / experience.
  • 7 years industry experience in controls engineering.
  • Working knowledge desired in:
    • Autodesk AutoCAD
    • Inductive Automation – Ignition Platform
    • Allen Bradley Rockwell PLC Programming Software
  • Strong fundamental knowledge of control and electrical system design and its application in automated industrial designs including specification of vision, power, sensor, inspection, and communications systems.
  • Experience with conveyance of a liquid material.
  • Responsible for project success whether project leader or as part of a project team.
  • Proactive, resourceful & highly motivated with good communication skills and ability to work in high output environment.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work on-site at client location in Downtown Omaha.
