Your role

As our first Creative Services Manager, you’ll manage our creative staff. You understand the creative process in both a procedural and visceral way. You’re passionate about creating high quality end products that our customers find visually appealing, enticing, and aligned with our brand promise of education delivery. Creative deliverables vary from graphic design to e-learning modules to sales enablement tools and collateral. You’ve managed a team before and understand how to lead ideation sessions, gain buy-in from team members, and execute on projects to hit deadlines.

Working on our Content team, you’ll get input from leadership, sales, and marketing to execute the cohesive vision for our products. As a growing company, we’ve set aggressive goals and you’re the type of person that thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys the challenges that come along with hyper-growth. Your duties

  • Manage creative staff
  • Review the work of designers and provide direction and feedback
  • Pitch and develop new ideas
  • Experience with creative writing, editing, storyboarding
  • Oversee the Design Department and supervise the Design Staff
  • Participate in the design process for modules, branded collateral, and web assets
  • Ensure high levels of quality, brand adherence, and professional standards
  • Work within established budgets and deadlines
  • Evaluate staff via the performance review process
  • All other duties as assigned, thought of, suggested, or randomly come up and need to be done.

 

Your qualifications

  • Varied portfolio of work demonstrating in-depth understanding of design principles
  • Experience leading, mentoring, and curating a strong creative team
  • Ability to work effectively with sales, marketing, and other internal stakeholders
  • Demonstrated understanding of distilling a big picture idea into its parts to delegate projects and deliverables to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized and familiar with one or more project management software programs (Trello, Jira, Zoho, etc…)
  • Strong knowledge of creative software including the Adobe suite
  • Proficiency with video production/editing
  • Knowledge of web skills (HTML, CSS, etc) a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Our Curriculum Managers are vital members of our content development team who focus on developing, updating and maintaining our cutting edge courseware to support training modules. You bring a solid foundational knowledge in detection of network and software attacks, operating system fundamentals, forensics, reverse engineering, and use it to ensure our content is top-notch. 

You are a team player who helps to plan and implement curriculum and educational programs for students within our training programs. Instructional/curriculum design or becoming a corporate trainer are career paths you’re interested in pursuing. You’ll design content for students so that student learning occurs, skills are developed, and students are motivated to learn and achieve their educational objectives. You’ll also support our marketing efforts by reviewing articles for our knowledge resource communities and jump in to help with additional projects when you’re needed.

Key skills:

Tech savvy. You know that cybersecurity is a growing concern and that fighting the bad guys is important, but you also have the knowledge to contribute. You’ve studied networks and operating systems. You’re familiar with the certifications available and probably have one yourself. 

Editorial. Technical writing isn’t just instruction manuals, but you’re still clear, concise and have excellent grammar. You have a definite opinion on the Oxford Comma or the singular they and want to be proud of the curriculum we put in front of our students.

Infosec is hiring a full-time Classroom Set-Up and Help Desk Technician in a fast-paced highly autonomous environment. Our ideal candidate is efficient, pays close attention to detail, is technically adept, has a customer service mindset and has some experience with computer hardware and Operating Systems. 

The primary role is to provide Helpdesk support for our virtual student environment, to  set up machines/classrooms for training solutions each week at our local venues, and to provide technical support to our students and instructors on a daily basis.  This is a highly flexible position with modified Monday through Friday schedules combined with regularly evening and weekend activities; all based on weekly class support requirements.

Your responsibilities:

  • Live Online Helpdesk support for our customers attending classes remotely.
  • Classroom Technical Set-Up:   Image and set up classroom machines for our classes run out of our Northern Virginia/DC/Maryland training location(s). 
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot classroom workstations for a large variety of networking and information security classes and Corporate Users
  • Provide user desktop support and resolve basic network issues.
  • Escalate problems to be resolved by senior IT Staff, when needed.
  • Instructor support during classes.
  • Pre-class technical support to sales and customers

Your role:

  • Responsible for the preparation of monthly financial statements. Reviews and analyzes balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statements, and variance narratives for management presentation.
  • Own and drive management key business metrics reporting process gathering data from Dynamics GP, SFDC and Marketing sources
  • Supporting a rapidly growing business with new processes and workflows
  • Sending out weekly and month end KPI updates for all departments
  • Responsible for timely invoicing; coordinate, track, and monitor invoicing process; own automated invoice process
  • Responsible for providing business analytics to effectively manage the Sales & Operations Planning process.
  • Define & standardize key business metrics and tolerances for all levels of the organization.

Your role

As our first Outbound Sales Development Rep, you’ll pioneer our outreach to prospective customers. You’ll be focused on sourcing new sales opportunities by making a lot of calls, sending emails, scheduling meetings, and teeing up potential business for our Enterprise Account Executives. It’s the hunt that gets you excited and you aren’t discouraged easily.

You’re smart, persistent, competitive and understand how to grab the attention of a cold prospect. You excel at managing a pipeline of sales leads and building solid relationship foundations with our clients. You’re not afraid to ask for referrals because you’re confident in the solution we’re providing. You aren’t afraid to dive in, reach out, and get things done!

Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer, you’ll be contributing directly to our newest product: Infosec Skills. Our newest training product has hundreds of on-demand courses, hands-on labs and practice assessments all streamlined for our customers to easily navigate. This means that your work is directly on display for our customers and your commitment to quality code shows.

Our development team is highly collaborative because each member brings a unique perspective and solid development skills. Your duties

  • Turn user stories into secure, tested and maintainable code.

Who you are

  • A few years of professional experience writing software for the web, even better if that includes working on a SaaS product.
  • Working knowledge of one or more dynamically-typed, interpreted programming languages such as PHP, Python, Ruby, etc.
  • Experience with PHP and the modern PHP ecosystem (Composer, PSRs, etc.) a plus.
  • Some familiarity with unit and automated software testing.
  • Some experience with or a desire to learn a JavaScript UI framework like React.
  • A basic understanding of web fundamentals: HTTP, TLS, DNS, browsers, etc.
  • A mind and eye for security – you should be familiar with most of the OWASP Top 10.
  • Comfortable working with modern software development tools and practices like Git, Github/Bitbucket, pull requests, and resolving merge conflicts, for example.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bonus points for having practical experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
